This is the story of the famous ballet, Copp?lia originally choreographed by Arthur Saint-L ?on to a ballet libretto by Saint-L ?on and Charles Nuitter, was first premiered on 25 May 1870 at the Th??tre Imp?rial de l?Op?ra in Paris. It was set to enthrall the audience and was indeed an instant hit. The same beauty of sound, dance and magic combined with the original score of L?o Delibes was recreated by the National Ballet Trust Academy of India in the Capital recently. The musical extravaganza showcased little ones in a cherubic look dressed with elaborate and colourful European-inspired tutus made from hand embroidered organic scraps and raw pieces of net.
